Wipe on Degreasers

An extensive range of products used for hand wiping components that are too large for processing through a pretreatment plant. These products will remove grease and oil from the component.
They range from rapid drying flammable solvents to environmentally friendly solvents with fast drying times.

A range of panel wipes impregnated with solvents are available for convenient use.

A typical example would be Metsol PT 526 - Wipe On Degreaser
METSOL PT 526 is a non aqueous solvent based degreaser designed for cold cleaning applications. It may be used for removing oils, greases, waxes, adhesives, tars and oil based paints and inks. METSOL PT 526 will clean asphalt, creosote and remove oils from hard surfaces. It is ideal as a wipe on degreaser prior to paint and powder coating applications.
